Professionals
Dr. Ken Pessumal is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, specializing in comprehensive eye care, clinical optics, prosthetic eye fitting, and laser and cataract surgery. He is a graduate of the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health and the Makati Medical Center Ophthalmology program. He joined CP Vision upon his graduation and allowed the company to grow from an optical to a complete eye care clinic.

Dr. Chandru Pessumal is the founder of CP Vision, with nearly 50 years of clinical and teaching experience. He is renowned for his dynamic and up-to-date approach to eye care, uniquely blending quality care and an emphasis on patient participation in the management of their visual needs. Dr. Pessumal’s expertise extends beyond the clinic as well, including teaching in Taiwan and heading eye care outreach programs for the underprivileged communities.

Our History
Over the years, we’ve grown into a trusted name in eye care, always committed to making better vision accessible to everyone.
CP Vision was established in 2010 as a Single Proprietorship owned and operated by Dr. Chandru Pessumal. The team included his wife Dr. Pamela Pessumal, and her sister Dr. Mary Ann Rocha. CP Vision primarily functioned as an Optical Clinic engaged in consultation and retail services catering to both individual and corporate clients.
In 2017, CP Vision expanded its operations to include Ophthalmology services, which includes management of all eye-related diseases covering medical, laser and surgical interventions. This is owed to the addition of Dr. Valerie Pessumal, MD, and Dr. Ken Pessumal, MD, (the children of Dr. Chandru and Pam Pessumal), both of whom are Board-Certified Ophthalmologists and Diplomate Members of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology and Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology.
With the expansion, CP Vision presently operates as a full-time Comprehensive Eye Care Clinic with both optometry and ophthalmology services, fully equipped to handle any eye-related concerns for all ages.
